Following an iterative process of requirements gathering, configuration, training, testing, and go-live, the Wipro team works with you at every phase to ensure your business needs are met and that you are comfortable with the process.

Here is what you can expect in each phase:

  1. Requirements gathering – Your specific business requirements are documented. Your Wipro team will work closely with you throughout this phase .
  2. Configuration – Based on your responses to the questionnaires and continuing communication with you, Wipro will configure existing products to meet your specific business needs, or create an application for your requirements. This phase also includes the conversion of data and any custom programming.
  3. Training – Wipro uses a train-the-trainer approach. Key individuals in your organization will be trained on each of the products. Special training is provided for those individuals responsible for administering the system.
  4. Testing – Wipro will work closely with client staff to test all aspects of the systems from reports to converted data.
  5. Go-Live – In this phase applications will be approved for use in the Production environment. A go-live date is set and final preparations for Production are completed.

A project manager is assigned responsibility for managing the project start to finish. The project manager reports directly to the client and Wipro management teams. During each project, a core team is established and is represented by staff from both Wipro and the client. The project core team includes a project manager, configuration management specialist, development engineers, architects, business analysts, and documentation/training staff. The team will agree upon the conversion plans, requirements, and activities. The team will develop detailed project plans and schedules to assist in ensuring a smooth, successful on-time implementation. The team will then carry out the majority of the required tasks.

Wipro uses proven, assessed PMI and CMM processes, procedures, and work products to meet time and budget constraints and has the experience to meet any transition requirements, regardless of size, environment, or system. Wipro employs documented procedures, well-defined plans, and strong project management controls. Customer involvement with all phases of conversions and transitions is also crucial, and improves our ability to implement the projects on time and on budget with high-quality results.
